Find the beast

Tera quickly got to work on digging up some clues about this so-called “beast”.
It was a mission that required a bit of stealth and a lot of finesse, and Dan sure as hell didn’t have to much of the latter, so she had him return to the Station to fill out some reports, something that would be very educational to him, seeing how he aimed to become one of them paper-pushing pussies high up on the chain-of-command one day.
So, now she was on her own, and headed down to the wilder part of Gordor, while walking there she began to consider her choices considering the investigation:
1.She could start asking the man on the street what he knew.
2.She could take a tour of the bars in the area, maybe down one or two ales in the process while asking the bartenders and wenches what they had heard about what was going on.
3.She could go talk to a “merchant” named Vilye, who dwelled in his gawky house in the Merchant Quarters. Vilye was a villain alright, the kind of sleazy weasel that had too many of his chubby little fingers in too many of other peoples jars, but he supplied her with information in exchange for not busting his whining ass.

But had she really thought of all possible courses of action?
