Chapter 10
by ShamusBaran
Try out the notebook on her?
Find an excuse to step away and give her D-cups.
It's not easy to show restraint in a situation like this. But better safe than sorry, right? +5 Alignment (Towards Good).
You stand up, taking a moment to stretch out your legs. "Want anything to drink? I mean... something non-alcoholic of course."
"Sure. I'm avoiding soda right now, so... how about a bottle of water?"
You're not sure if there's any water at a frat party, but you remember seeing a drink machine in the lounge area. "I'll see what I can find." You leave Sadie alone on the couch, dodging through the crowd. The place is loud enough and crowded enough that no one would pay attention to you unless you did something unusual.
Pulling out a notebook isn't enough to turn a head, let alone draw attention. Lucky for you, Sadie keeps her attention on her smartphone, so you find a nice spot to watch her. You write 'Sadie' in the notebook and a B Natural appears next to it. You quickly scribble a D in its place and watch.
Sadie shifts in place, keeping her attention on her cell phone, but her changes. It's enough to make you a little worried, so you stare harder-- almost forgetting to snap the notebook shut. Your scrutiny pays off, though. She's wearing a sports bra you don't remember her wearing a moment ago. Also despite your 'revision,' she doesn't seem any bustier.
You wait a bit longer, to no avail, so you shrug and head to the drink machine. Along the way, you run into Terry.
He closes in on you quickly, and at least a few people turn to look. "Jamie!"
"Hey. I thought you'd be halfway to first base by now."
"Grabbing drinks."
You can't help notice he's empty handed. "Drinks."
"Yeah. She's taking it easy on the booze. Said she wanted a diet soda for now. Where the hell am I going find soda at a damn frat party?"
You clap a hand on his shoulder. "I got your back. There's a machine in the lounge."
"A machine? But... I don't have any cash."
You sigh. Classic Terry. "I can cover you..."
You walk with him to the lounge to find it relatively empty. Two girls hang out in one corner typing away on their laptops. Both of them are cute brunettes, one a bit more heavy set then the other with wire frame glasses. You can't help but notice both of them are pretty curvy.
Your college is full of girls like this and one of the reasons you love the school so damn much. They exchange a look, mutter something under their breath and chuckle.
"Oh shit..." Terry says, rubbing his forehead. Of all the luck."
"What's up?"
"See the one on the left with the great rack? She's an ex."
From where you're standing they both have nice racks. "Left on bad terms?"
"Nah... she... moved for a semester and I got ansty. Totally my fault."
You nudge him. "Then say Hi like a respectable human being . I'll go get the drinks."
You shove Terry towards the girls and break towards the machine. You get Sadie's water first, peeking over at Terry as the mechanical catch grabs it and deposits it in the drawer. You can tell from the expression on his face he's bombing hard. Then you realize, you know the other girl. She was in one of your classes.
Without thinking, you write Gina in the notebook. E Natural appears next to her name.
The machine beeps at you. Reminding you to grab the water. It snaps you back to your senses. You're getting distracted. You should probably head back to Sadie, especially since you just used the notebook on her.
You buy the diet soda, scoop it up and hide the notebook, approaching Terry and the girls.
Terry laughs nervously. "That's a relief Ginny, and here I thought you hated me for it."
Ginny? Their names are... the same?
This peaks your curiosity... but you're also pressed for time...
Do you investigate this?
