Find Dan

Leanne figured now was as good a time as any to catch up with Dan. The ghosts had hopefully been satisfied and it wasn't like things could get much weirder. The problem was she had no idea where to look for him. Deciding to try a different floor and hope she got lucky Leanne headed upstairs.

As she entered the next level there was no sign of anyone. Just the same dank smell and seemingly never ending corridor of doors. But after walking along for a while she saw one opening and Dan falling out. Her face spread into a wide smile which quickly evaporated as she realised something was wrong. Quickly she ran towards him.

"He bit me! I can't believe he bit me!" yelled Dan frantically.

"Relax," replied a female worker as she tried to help him. "It was only a scratch." She inspected the wound closely. "You'll be fine, but if you're worried go see the nurse just in case. At least Mr. Johnson's calm now." With her job done the worker walked away, allowing Leanne to step forward and check on Dan.

"Are you okay?" she asked with concern in her voice. "I heard the screaming."

"Yea, I guess," replied Dan unconvincingly. "Just don't expect a resident to bite you like that." He inspected his arm closely, doubtful over his co-worker's diagnosis. "Maybe I should go to the nurse though. You know, just to make sure."

"I'll come with you," added Leanne cheerily. She wasn't overly won over by the grown man's whining about a small cut but still wanted to stick close. They started heading for the nurse's office when Dan suddenly collapsed against the wall. He could barely stand and his face had been drained of all colour. "Dan! Are you okay?" Leanne looked around in a panic for someone to help but the corridor was deserted. The nurse's office was close but could she carry Dan that far?
