Flee or fight?
Fight.
The battle is lost, but you will die before you would flee. You dart between the ruined trees releasing arrows between stops, avoiding the onslaught.
"GRENADIERS, RELEASE!" A loud thump occurs as metal ball the size of a pomegranate lands next to you. It explodes.
The ambush failed.
