Fight

What kind of coward are you? You're a man, not a mouse! Well, for the time being, at least. But as long as that's the case, you have no excuse for running away from your problems. Steve is depending on you, the whole town is depending on you, and even the WORLD may be depending on you. You have to make it to those supplies even if it kills you! Which it might...

But no time to think of that now! Now's a time for action! Instead of wasting even a single second more thinking about how much you have to do something, you rush towards the five monsters that are guarding the entrance to the town. They all turn to you as you near them, but not fast enough - you manage to dropkick the horse immediately, dropping him to the ground. You scramble to your feet just in time to see the skunk raising its tail towards you, and dive out of its way just in time to avoid the thick black spray shooting from its rear.

With that done, you're now facing the canary. It goes to peck you in the face, but you duck out of the way and behind it. Not a moment too soon, as another inky black jet flies from the skunk, the canary protecting you from the blast before collapsing to the ground. That's two down, but- crap, the tiger's grabbed you from behind, and the cat is running at you from up ahead. Just as she reaches you, you lift your feet off the ground and plant them squarely in her face, knocking her back. The **** causes the tiger to fall over and you roll off of him, dodging for a third time the thick black spray the skunk fires at you.

That's four down and one to go, but the skunk's confidence seems unwavering. Maybe it's just stupid, you consider, but then you hear something scraping against the ground behind you. When you turn, you see a second skunk rising from the ground to face you. Then, to your left, you spot a third, and off to your right, a fourth and fifth. Rather than being taken down by you, all your foes had been hit by the skunk's attacks, and now rather than facing off against four muscular clawed monsters and a single skunk, you have to deal with five skunks, all of them ready to turn and spray at a moment's notice.
