Fight

Her heart racing, Leina tightened her grip on her broadsword and raised her shield just in time to block the creature's first swing. The impact sent a shockwave through her arm, but she managed to hold firm, her training and instincts taking over. The Minotaur roared in frustration, its breath hot and foul on her face. She stepped back, taking stock of the situation, her eyes darting around the room for any potential advantage. The chamber was large and open, with a few crates and barrels scattered about, but she had no doubt that the creature would use the space to its advantage.

The Minotaur swung its battle axe again, aiming for her unprotected side. Leina danced backward, the blade slicing through the air mere inches from her body. She could feel the heat of the beast's breath as it bore down on her. She knew she had to act fast; this creature wasn't going to give her any breaks. With a swift pivot, she swung her sword at its legs, aiming for the joints. The blade bit into flesh, and the Minotaur bellowed in pain. It staggered back, giving her the opening she needed.
