Feeding time

As soon as Aurelie thought of her hunger she was ravenous. Her belly began to grumble, then growl with a need for food. Soon she could think of nothing else, but struggled not to cry out for help, not wanting to give her captors the slightest satisfaction.

Just when that resolve was starting to crack, the door swung open and a man came in holding two bowls, and placed them in front of her. One was full of clear water, while from the other a heavenly mouth watering aroma of stew filled her nostrils and made her belly growl fiercely.

He looked down at her in silence, watching her.

"Can't you release my arms so I can eat?" she asked, trying not to sound plaintive.

"You're a bitch," he replied with disinterest. "Bend over and eat like a bitch. Put your face in the bowl if you want to eat."

She glared back at him with fury, looking back down at the bowls which she suddenly realised were dog dishes. She shook her head in denial.

"Doesn't matter to me. You don't want to eat, don't eat." He bent to pick up the bowls and Aurelie's resolve cracked, broken by her hunger.

"No! I'll eat!" she yelped, bending forward to lean over the bowl of stew. It smelled like the most wonderful food in the world, and she lowered her face to it and started to lap it up. He stood watching her devour the food, smearing her cheeks with the gravy as she ate. She sat up, then bent forward and lapped some water, her body responding with gratitude for the nourishment while her mind burned with humiliation.

Finally she was done, the bowl licked clean and half the water gone. She sat back and looked up at him with shame and hatred.

"That's a an obedient bitch," he said calmly, picking up the bowls and turning away.

"Wait!" she called after him. He stopped and turned to look at her without expression.

"I need...I need a toilet."

His only response was a short barking laugh as he went out the door and locked it behind him.
