Father Wrestles Son

Jason is on is way to visit his dad for the first time since he graduated high school, and he can’t wait to see the old man. After his parents split, he hasn’t seen a lot of his dad, but the two of them were always close when Jason was growing up.

One thing that they loved to do was wrestle, even though they hadn’t much the last few years. Tussling and fighting with each other was great bonding and fun for them. Jason’s dad almost always won, usually just because he was bigger & stronger, but even then, he wasn’t above playing a little... dirty.

As Jason is thinking about these memories, he is pulled back into reality as he pulls into his dad’s driveway, who is standing at the doorway waiting for him. Jason gets out of his car, and the two share a hug. “It’s good to see you my boy. Finally a high school graduate! I’m so proud.” His dad says to him. “And not a minute too soon. I’m so glad to be out of there.” Jason says with a laugh.

His dad slaps him on the shoulder, “High school isn’t a party for everyone I guess. Come on in, let’s get you settled.”
