The Blob bounds toward you and you sidestep its warbling mass, causing it to get caught on a jagged root. Before it can wriggle free, you turn about and run into the swamp, the sound of plopping and splashing getting fainter behind you. You are quite winded when you finally get away, but at least you're safe.
