Explore the forest around your camp

The sun sets as you explore the dark forest that surrounds your camp. Its remarkably quiet as you explore the area. While you’re walking through a natural path, something bolts by your legs. You jump out and look into a nearby bush. The black and white bandit-like face of a raccoon looks back at you, its eyes giving away its position. You back up, not intending on scrapping with a raccoon tonight.

As you explore, you notice a few bushes that have bright pink and purple berries on them. They actually look quite pretty. You’re unfamiliar with them but they could be a good way to spice up the usual rations you eat. Try some?
