Chapter 22
What will he do while he waits?
Explore the apartment building
Dan didn't want to lay down. He knew if he did, he'd start to feel tired. With nothing else to do other than stare at his phone, he decided to explore the apartment building.
He put back on his shoes and made for the door. If he was quick, his mother would never know he was gone. He opened the door to find a large brown package blocking his way. "What?" he mused as he bent down to check the shipping label on the side. It showed the right address but was the wrong unit. Standing up, Dan looked up and down the corridor. Their apartment, 2F, was on the left while the package was supposed to go to 2G.
With a shrug, he hefted the heavy package, grunting from the effort, and walked it five steps to the door across from his. He set it down and knocked on the door.
Less than a minute later, the door swung open to reveal a short, auburn-haired woman wearing a black bra that barely contained her modest chest, a garter belt and stockings, and lacy black panties. "Yes?" she asked with a confused look in her deep green eyes.
Dan tried to smile as his eyes wandered back up to the woman's face. "Sorry," he greeted. "The delivery guy left this at our door," he explained and hooked a finger over his shoulder. The gesture made the woman lean to the left, so she could see around him. Dan glanced back down.
