He looked pretty busy and I didn't want to start the year on the wrong foot with a teacher. I continued on back to the main building. I could feel the vibrations through the floor the minute I stepped in. Clearly someone was having a party. I followed the music to the main gymnasium.

Two guys dressed and painted in the school colors were outside. They were cheering and gathering everyone around pushing then past two dark curtains behind them that lead to the gym. I made the mistake of making eye contact with one and before I could turn away I was grabbed by the wrist and pushed through the dark curtains.

The gym inside was nearly as dark as the curtains. Only being lit by strobe and neon lights. I looked to my right another guy high on school sprit (and possibly other things) was handing me something. In the dim light I couldn't tell what it was and it was far too loud to hear anything he was saying. I took what he was holding the coolness of the can gave it away it was beer. The jock started pointing towards the back of the gym saying something about booth's and an exit.

I nodded holding up my can pretending I understood. I made my way deeper into the gym till I hit a branching path. I could hear mad cheering of men through both passages. I tapped on my can of beer. Do I want to drink this. I can't exactly hold my liquor. Buuuuut do I really want to go through one of these curtains completely sober?
