Explain The Plan To Hannah

You walked down the stairs shaking your head confused to how the world became this fucked. Three months ago if he'd seen the military he'd have come running to them with open arms but now, he'd be running the other way at the sight. As he got to the bottom of the stairs he figured that Hannah would be his backup, knowing that Scott is better used planning the attack and defense.

He walked back into the dorm and gave Devin, who just woke up, a wave. Devin returned it, seemingly have calmed down since the other day. He walked over to Hannah and lightly shook her awake. Hannah's eyes fluttered open and she let out a grin seeing your face, "Nice way to wake up in the morning, got anything else for me?"

"Not the time, come on I gotta talk to you." You replied taking her hand and pulling her to her feet. You quickly brought her up the stairs into the old exhibit rooms where no one should be able to hear you talk. "Alright, look Scott is gonna pair us together for the next few days."

"Okay?" Hannah said with a little shrug as she crossed her arms,

"The thing is we're not going to be doing our normal runs, were going to old checkpoints to find explosives." You whispered to her,

"And pre tell why the are we looking for explosives?" Hannah replied,

"Because once we find enough, were gonna set a little surprise for Jackson's squad. Then when they get here...we're gonna blow them to hell." You said sternly,

Hannah let out a grin, "Sounds like a fucking plan to me. But why are we keeping this a secret?"

"We need to keep up an illusion that we're still working with Jackson for now, if we tell everyone Jackson might catch on. That's why whenever Jackson's here we stay out of sight so he doesn't ever suspect anything until we want him too." You explained,

Hannah let out a little sigh and rubbed her face, "I hate secrets but I get it, so when are we going?"

"After today's meeting, if we find any explosives we give them to Scott and he'll start rigging a charge." You replied,

"Okay, I trust this plan and I trust you." Hannah said tentatively putting her hand on your chest,

You pulled Hannah into a comforting hug, "This'll work, we only need a few days if we're lucky."

"I hope so." Hannah said with a little sniffle as she tightened her grip around you. After a few minutes you lead her back downstairs and the two of you joined the others for breakfast. After that Scott called the meeting and as expected paired you and Hannah together as you asked. The two of you quickly walked to the loading dock garage and got into Hannah's jeep. Hannah drove as you checked the map for the checkpoint Scott told you about.
