Ertis, God-King of the Underworld, rules over his dominion with kindness, and an iron fist. It is in his realm that souls are judged, those of a good heart are given just rewards, those of evil, eternal punishment. He is quite fond of mortals, and a lucky few might even be offered the honor of marrying the god in question, becoming a god, or goddess, themselves.
