Ending 9 - Home

You push open the door to the Artefacts room and step through. You find yourself in a large hall. Tall shelving units fill almost the entire space, each one holding row upon row of dusty snow globes just like the one you saw Shinny use on you, a long time ago... Each snow globe appears to be unique. You scan the rows of snow globes, looking for one that looks like your parents' house.

You finish examining the first set of shelves, and halfway through your search of the second set, you find what you're looking for: a snow globe with a red base, the flecks of snow inside settled around a miniature model of your parents' house.

"What's going on here?" It's Alabaster. He rushes towards you. It's now or never. You grab the snow globe and hurl it to the floor as hard as you can. The snow globe hits the ground with a loud crack and shatters. There is a bright red flash of light, and you collapse to the ground while the room seems to spin around you, a whirl of colour and light. It almost feels like time itself is exploding out of the broken snow globe to fill the space around you. Your vision fades to a blinding white...

The next thing you know, you're back in your bedroom, at home. Home! Your bed is here, just as you left it before Shinny appeared on Christmas Eve. The clock on your wall, ticking faintly. Your desk, your books, your posters.
