Enter one of the doors on the lower floor, near the vats with tentacles in them.

I assumed that the contents of the vats were somehow correlated to the labs they were near. Since the tentacles intrigued me the most, I went down the stairs and entered the door near the large collection of tentacled monstrosities.

Beyond the door was a small lab. One one side of the room, beyond the desks, seemed to be several doors that led to offices. On the other side was one large door. It looked as if large blast shutters protected a window, so it was probably some sort of experimental room.

Should I look around this lab more, head to the officies, or check out the experimental room?
