Emily takes a shower

Emily walked into the small changeroom and tossed her backpack carelessly to the side.

If this was any other day, she would've quickly gotten changed without bothering with a shower. She only used the shower after she finished her shift when she would be drenched and filthy. The small shower stall installed at the end of the room was very cramped, didn't run warm water and didn't offer much privacy.

Today was different. Emily was burnt out, so she thought she could benefit from a nice cold shower. She stripped off, tossing her clothes just as carelessly as she did with her bag. She stepped into the small shower stall and blissfully enjoyed the cool water running down her skin. To conserve costs, her parents told her she was only allowed 1 minute of running water. It was a brief respite, so Emily savoured every moment of it.

As she was almost finished, she heard Ashley's voice yelling from the other room. Emily shut off the shower and stepped outside.

"Emily!" Her sister was calling. "We've got a customer! Are you out there yet?"

"Coming!" she yelled back as she grabbed a small washcloth and dried herself off. Once again, because her parents were so frugal, they didn't leave towels for Emily to use; all Emily had were some spare unused washcloths (the same she would use to clean her cars).
