Chapter 3
by Wikia
We have a setting. What god lives here?
Elisia, Goddess of Darkness and Queen of the Underworld
When light appeared and the Primordial Gods were born, the Realms formed around this light. The realm closest to this light would be what you or I would know of as the Realm of the Gods. Many of the deities we would know of today hang their collective hats in this realm, but not all of them. Some have set up shop in the Mortal Realm, choosing to manage their domain among the mortals. Some exist beyond the reach of man or god. But few have slinked into the deepest recesses of the great primordial darkness we know of as the Underworld.
The Underworld as we know it exists as the grand vault of the cosmos. When mankind made a name for itself, a boon was made and the souls of all fallen men and women were to be stored here before rebirth. Those who lead a good life or obtain special blessing from those with divine authority would spend their stay in contentment and happiness until they fade away in peace. Those who commit more evil then not or invite divine curses have their sins payed three-times over with pain and suffering.
Some of the god's most precious of valuables and artifacts too dangerous or important to keep anywhere else are kept here. After the war between the Primordial Gods and the current pantheon ended, the surviving enemy were imprisoned deep within the deepest, darkest, most unknowable bowels of the Underworld. Every prison has a warden, and she is that warden.
Elisia was a lonely, beautiful and dreaded being. During the war between the Pantheon and the Primordial Gods, Elisia came up with the idea to hide within the realm of her mother, the original Primordial Goddess of Night. With the advantage it gave to the Pantheon, the King of the Gods declared her the ruler of the Underworld and the new Goddess of Darkness.
To a mortal, she would look no older than twenty-one years (give or take) despite having been around since the Earth took the shape that it did. Her skin was pale, almost like polished ivory, with platinum blond hair and icy blue eyes. Her figure was ideal, every curve of her womanly form visible from under the almost transparent black dress that she wore.
She sat in her throne, a seat of power carved into the shape of various human skeletons out of beautiful, reflective ebony. Across from the grand hall stood two tall doorways. Normally the doorway into and out of the Underworld had massive chains keeping them from opening (on account of the various jar-headed warrior gods or mortal heroes of legend barging in thinking they could take her throne or steal something or someone from her domain) but today she was expecting someone to walk through those doors and was waiting patiently to greet them.
Who had opened the door?
