Elise asks the crew

Elise looks over at Rin."Cut the com" she says quietly. She looks around at the entire bridge crew, then at you. She takes in a breath, and slowly exhales. "I can't ask any of you to go with me" she addresses them. Then she looks at you "I especially can't ask you. In this short space of time, you've come to mean a lot to me. I guess I'm still hoping to get you pregnant, and settle you down. Or maybe it's because I love you, and I protect the things I love. That includes my crew" she says, turning her attention back to them. "i can tell you this. Targ and I set out years ago together, believe it or not before he became a slaver, and while I was quite young and naive in search of the Crystal of Sapphicus. We never found it, but we did promise each other that if we ever heard rumor of it, we would investigate it together. That probably means Targ will be coming aboard the ship as well after my "visit" with him. This is something I know I have to do because I gave my word. None of you are bound to it."

Rin was the first one to speak up. "All the same, Capatin, we have been together through thick and thin. I for one have no where else to go even if I said no, because I know you're going any way. I'd rather stay, and share in the adventure with you. It actually sounds more exciting than scavenging old derelict ships for parts and supplies, and things we can sell or trade. It's a lot safer than running guns, too. I'm with you all the way."

One by one, the rest of the bridge crew said much the same thing, until it was decided the entire crew of the Swift Night agreed to support their captain, and her decision.

"Well, that leaves you, Val" Elise says, turning her attention back to you. "I can't ask you to travel with me into hostile space. The Veridians are not known for their hospitality. We may have to fight them, and we may not. If you want, we'll drop you off at the closest, safest planet before we enter Veridian space."

What a crazy time to find courage, you think to yourself. Yet you know in your heart if you leave now, you'll be missing out on the adventure of a lifetime. The Crystal of Sapphicus is legend everywhere. It's even in children's stories and fairytales. "If it's all the same to you, I'll go with you. too. This could be the greatest adventure I'll ever be a part of. Why would I want to miss out on that?" you ask with a smile.

Elise smiles back at you. "Let it be noted in the official log that the Captain and the entire crew of the starship Swift Night agreed to go in search of the Crystal of Sapphicus." She turns back to you, and suddenly kisses you. "You realize, of course, you'll probably be sharing a bed with Targ as well as me."

"I just hope he doesn't snore" you say with a smile.

Elise giggles. "Well, that's the least of your worries. Targ has an insatiable sexual appetite, and he has two cocks."

Your eyes widen in surprise. "You've got to be kidding me!"

"I take it you've never met a Denivian before?" asks Elise. You shake your head no, and she continues. "Denivian males can fuck two women at the same time."

This piques your interest. "Oh?" You stand there puzzling over exactly how that might work.

"You'll find out soon enough when I get back with him. That is, unless you want to tag along with now?"
