Eiza steals the power

The nub of id that was Eiza fought it’s last battle with the power that was William. She knew it was just about done, the last of what she was would either win, or lose and be gone before. She stared with fire in her eyes, blinking hard and often.

“Please don’t do this William,” she said forcefully. Something in what she said seemed to redouble her will, she could now see the power that emanated from him. It was vast and incomprehensible, but she could see it.

Reaching out, she sensed something was about to happen. She pushed harder, the woman that was Eiza fought harder for this than ever before.

“No, William, this is not normal. Please don’t use that power again,” she answered as she felt the rush of understand flood her.

“Yes, your right Eiza, this isn’t normal is it?” William answered, not realizing the tables had been turned.
