What's next?
During the events of the series. (298 A.C.)
It has been at least fifteen years since the collapse of the Targaryen dynasty. The Baratheons have occupied the Iron Throne for the past decade and a-half. It matters not to you who rules the Seven Kingdoms; all you want is the comfort of an older woman.
Eddard of House Stark, the Lord Paramount of the North, was King Robert Baratheon's closest friend growing up. Not long ago, the king rode all the way to Winterfell just to ask Lord Eddard to be Hand of the King. He did this after the **** of his previous Hand, Lord Jon Arryn, who had been their mentor when they were boys.
Lord Eddard may be absent from his homeland, but that does not mean the hospitality of the North went with him. As such, you turn to northern end of the crossroads and urge Aerion forward. There you begin the long ride to the northern half of the continent.
Right now, we must address how far we are into the canon story line. When is this supposed to take place?
- Before Eddard Stark's execution
- After Eddard's execution, but before the Red Wedding
- After the Red Wedding
