The Base Classes
Druid
A druid is a sentient embodiment of nature. While their temperaments, races, mannerisms, and locations may differ, druids are all protectors of nature. They share a secret language, known only to each other, and allows for the ability to druids to communicate regardless of their original languages. They are the most likely of any class to immediately form rapport with another of the same class. Though they may debate the aspects, patterns, and changes inherent to their natural surroundings, the desire to protect nature is universal, and they can often rally to defend it with little conflict or rivalry.
Druids are often pacifists, as seeing the **** that most sentient races are capable of, they have decided that it has no place in their life. However, one must be wise enough to not mistake pacifism for weakness. Just as nature itself, a druid is slow to rouse, but can be a terrible **** if disturbed. If a situation is dire enough that the druid’s physical intervention is necessary, the druid often does not cease until all perceived threats to their environment have either fled, or ceased to exist.
A druid’s divine power is most often granted by nature itself, and even when in a seemingly unnatural place like a city or a castle, the natural energy will seek them out and they are able to glean the energy required to manifest their magical powers. This allows them to prepare and cast spells throughout the day. A druid must prepare their spells at the beginning of each day, and may not knowingly and willingly damage nature without due cause. Any who violate this clause lose their druidic powers, and must atone for their actions in order to regain them.
A druid may shapeshift into the form of an animal. The types of animals available for the druid to shapeshift into will vary based on the individual druid’s power. The druid must have at least encountered and touched the animal that he or she wishes to transform into. It must be an animal that has occurred naturally, not a magical beast, though exceptions exist within certain druidic sects.
In addition to being able to transform into animals, druid also has an animal companion. This animal companion is often much stronger, faster, and tougher than ones found within nature. The energy that the druid possesses provides a mysterious growth in abilities. This animal companion also has an empathic link to the druid, and may share in the benefits of the spells that the druid casts.
Overall, druids can make very versatile adventurers. Reasons for a druid to go adventuring are numerous. Perhaps they wish to encourage those abroad that nature is to be venerated and protected. Perhaps there is a wrong that a druid wishes to right. Maybe a druid wishes to create harmony between the unforgiving wilds all around and the settlements which have angered them. The reasons abound, and it is not uncommon to see a druid adventuring out of sheer wanderlust.

D&D Adventures, Your way (Now Public)
Writers Welcome! NOW PUBLIC!! I was surprised to find that there isn't many straight up D&D analogues on this site, and I thought I could fill the niche well. All the one's I've seen are either very brief, or were projects that people got too ambitious on and quit with a story that was a mile wide and an inch deep. Closest thing I could find was on editthis' wiki style page, and the thread is pretty much abandoned aside from myself. So without further ado I present to you the generic D&D adventure (with some smutty twists)
