Drop the bottle and pretend it was an accident.

You uncork the bottle and step towards Sir Langley as if to pour his cup then step on the edge of your foot, tumbling to the ground. You're sure to hit the bottle hard against the ground and are pleased to see it shatter.

"You little fool!" screams Langley angrily. He stands in a rage and delivers a swift kick to your gut, knocking the wind from you. You hear the scrape of metal being drawn as Langley pulls his dagger. Quickly, Ulfric stands and steps between you and his furious guest. "Stay your blade, Sir Langley, the boy tripped is all". Langley snarls. You know the real reason he's so livid, but he can hardly admit to what has just happened.

"Your little **** has just cost me..." he begins, pausing before ending with "...that wine was expensive"

"It was just an accident" says Ulfric, in your defence. You still lie on the ground, to afraid to move.

"Then teach him not to have accidents, or I will!" snaps Langley. Ulfric looks between you and Langley solemnly. He pulls you to your feet, without a word and removes your belt.

"Remove your tunic" he orders. You gulp and with trembling hands, lift your tunic over your head and drop it aside. Ulfric steps behind you, while Langley stands in front of you, an evil gleam in his eye. Your teeth clench as you feel the sting of leather across your back. You manage to resist crying out. Another lash leaves another hot line across your back. Langley steps forwards and yanks down your trousers, leaving you completely exposed.

"Harder" he tells Ulfric.

The third stroke brings tears to your eyes and you gasp. By the fifth you can't contain your pain any longer and let out a cry. All the while Langley stands before you, taking sadistic pleasure in watching you be punished; you notice that leggings are bulging around his crotch and he occasionally adjusts himself deliberately. The sick fuck is getting off on your humiliation.

You're glad you can't see Ulfric while he beats you. You don't blame him. You're pretty sure Langley would have done far worse to you if he hadn't stepped in. Around the 8th lash, he stops. "Keep going!" barks Langley.

"That's enough" says Ulfric in a stoic tone "I'm sure he's learned his lesson"

"I said keep going!" Langley insists.

"And I said it's enough!" replies Ulfric, his tone darkening.

Langley looks at you with disgust and spits in your face. "Your master is too soft on you boy, count your lucky stars" he says and with that, storms out of the tent. You stand, still naked, and hear Ulfric drop your belt behind you.

"You should get some rest" he says awkwardly. You can't bring yourself to turn to face him and he avoids coming into view. You pull up your trousers lay carefully on your bedroll, sore lines criss crossing across your back. For a long while, the adrenaline and the pain keep you awake, but once the adrenaline ran its course, you fall asleep quickly.
