Drop the act

You sigh, your charming smile disappearing in an instant. "Well, guess you hit the nail right on the head," you say and scratch your head "sorry about that, I've just... I've been thinking about my life and how I haven't done anything, and I wanted to get out and do something, ya know?" You say, opening up a bit. "So you wanted that "something" to be me?" She says and shoots you a glance. You chuckle a bit "I guess... Anyways, I shouldn't bother you with my problems, I'll just be leaving. Sorry for disturbing you." You say and stand up

"Well, maybe you could make it up to me by buying me a drink, hm?" She suggests, finally making eye contact with you. You're a bit stunned she wants you to stay and have a drink with her, but you won't complain! "Sounds good to me" you say with a smile and sit back down. "Bartender, two Cape Cods" she says with a smile and the bartender gets to work. You watch in quite facination as the bartender assemble the drinks. "You never seen someone make a Cape Cod before?" Asks the vixen "well, um, yeah, I've never seen anyone make a drink before, probably because I don't drink" you explain, deciding to be honest with her. "Really?" she asks with a raised eyebrow "Well then I hope you can drink this without blacking out" she says with a cheeky smile as the bartender sets down a drink beside each of you. "well, here's to my first drink" you say and raise your glass "hehe, cheers" she says and lightly clanks her glass against yours before you both take a drink. You set down your glass and try and think what the taste was like, it was like some sort of fruit punch mixed with something else. "Anyways, my names Felicia, Felicia Grandford." She says and looks at you with a sly smile. "Well I'm Wallace, Wallace Cray" you say in respond with an innocent smile

You spend the rest of the day talking to Felicia. Turns out she owns pretty much half the businesses on the beach in this area and she's working on building her fortune so she can own a big business some day. In fact she even owned the bar the two of you were drinking at! She's pretty proud of her small empire she's building. You also find out a few of her hobbies, like drinking, sunbathing and jogging, along with a few of her likes and dislikes. You and her get into a friendly argument about some classic cinema as well, which was fun cause of how drunk you were.

"Ya know, you seem to have things all figured out for yourself Felicia" you say, half drunk "You're on your way to being a successful business woman, while meanwhile I got fired two days ago and I'm still looking for my calling in life" you say, as the sun sets behind the waves "You got fired? How'd someone as boring as you get fired?" She asks playfully, she also seems to be a bit drunk herself "There was a... incident with the copying machines. I accidentally broke several..." you say in shame. "Well... maybe you could work for me." She offers "What? Really?" "Of course really! I'm sure I could find something, just give me a call tomorrow and we can talk" she says and gives you her number. You're overjoyed, but you play it cool "I guess I'll see ya later then?" You say with a grin "Yup, just don't drive home like this, call a taxi alright?" She says, sternly. You nod and watch her get up and leave. Once you know she's gone, you shout and howl in celebration of getting a girls number. Sure it's for business, but it counts! You feel like today's your lucky day and you don't want it to end!
