Wendu returned with the drinks and we settled down to some small talk. Life after her atrocious betrayal etc (although i didnt put it this way)

She kept angling the converstaion back to money, but i pretended not to notice, but eventually suggested we head off for a bite to eat, my treat. She readily agreed, a bit more relaxed now, so i called Eddie (my driver) and we headed out to the car.
