Chapter 3

First day on campus
Drawing too much attention
"Oh! Uh..." It seems the outstretched hand was unexpected, for some reason. After a moment of shy confusion, she reached out and shook Isaac's hand. "I'm Emma! Well, my real name is Seohyun, but I have always preferred an American name. Emma Park! Nice to meet you too!" She shook his hand for longer than normal, but is seems that human interaction made her nervous, or maybe it was just him?
Isaac Holt stood at 6'1" tall, but weighed only 140 lbs. He was pale, but his face was clean shaven, with his hair was black a and scruffy at medium length, covering part of his face, but not reaching to his shoulders. He kept to himself enough that he did not go outside much, and definitely did not work out. He didn't want many people to see him, for fear of exploiting his powers, so he did not try to look good for anyone. This might change, now that he does not need to hide here. He was wearing simple dark blue jeans and res tennis shoes, but his t-shirt with a game logo on it now had two holes in it, and hung loosely around his neck. A thin black jacket hung from his shoulders.
Emma, as she preferred to be called, was a little shorter than expected, now that Isaac could see her while standing on the ground. Only 5'1" tall, she is a whole foot less than him. She had a great body for her size, sporting B cup breasts, but having very full hips, ass, and thighs. Her hair was long and black, pulled back into a ponytail. Bangs hung down into her obviously Korean face, mixed with a small amount of American bloodline. She was both beautiful and adorable, especially with those big eyes starting into his own. Making him feel underdressed, she wore a white button-down shirt with a grey vest closesd over it, followed by a black pleated skirt that reaches down a few inches short of her knees. Black stockings came up to just under her knees, ending in a pair of plain black dress shoes.
This peaceful moment, so soon after a near-**** experience, was suddenly interrupted by shouting from several people. "WHAT IS GOING ON?? WHAT HAPPENED HERE??" An older looking man in a nice black suit was walking toward the human statue with an angry and bewildered look on his face as he turned around, surveying the scene. "Someone explain this to me, NOW!!" As he spoke, the very air seemed to shake, reverberating the bodies of everyone hearing it. The crowd was silent, with everyone looking at one another, wondering who would be the first to break the tense silence.
"It was him, sir!" These words rang out through the crowd, almost echoing from the total silence of the area. Everyone turned to look at the source of the voice, finding an attractive blonde girl, with rather large tits straining her blouse, pointing in Isaac's direction.
His heart sank, heavy with fear. He used his powers for **** on his first day here. This would be the end, so soon after arriving. Imagining his family's reaction, when he told them to turn around and pick him up, devastated him. Immediately filled with regret and anger toward himself, Isaac was on the verge of tears. However, something didn't feel quite right. All of the eyes were in his direction, but actually pinpointed on the hulking statue.
The older man, as well as a few other nicely dressed adults, quickly approached Isaac and Emma, and well as the stone figure. "You two!" announced the loud man. "Stay right there! Tell me what happened!"
Emma spoke up first, not giving Isaac a chance to speak yet. "Dean Prescott, sir, Isaac just arrived today, and just as his family left, this idiot," pointing to the petrified one, "pushed him and knocked him down. Look at his hands and face!" As she pointed this out, the amasses group moved in to inspect him. Isaac still had pieces of the ground stuck to his face and in his hair. Additionally, the scrapes has bled a little, showing crusted trails of blood on his face. One of the adult females gasped when this was revealed, looking sternly at Dean Prescott, then the stone figure. After some hushed words, the Dean turned back to Emma and gave her a nod, indicating that she could continue her explanation. "Thank you, sir. This bully merely laughed as Isaac fell, but then himself tripped over his own two dumb feet, and crashed into the ground over there! I... I don't know what happened to the ground, honestly. I was going to check on him, when I heard the loud slam. I assume he did that himself."
Dean Prescott interrupted at this point. "Yes, Miss Park, I assume he did. Mister Johnson here has the power of immense strength, which is why he was drafted to this school to play sports. He is more hotheaded than we imagined, and will need to be dealt with. But please, tell me what happened to him!" he pleaded to the tiny Korean girl.
"I... um... well, you see..." She has trouble finding the words. Fear of reprimand was holding her tongue. Isaac took this moment to speak for her, as she did for him. "Dean Prescott, sir, if I may?" The Dean nodded to him. "Thank you. He did indeed smash the ground, Hulk-style, and immediately charged at me, blaming me for his fall. I thought that I was certainly going to die! If he hit me with that ****, I would be dead! Luckily for me, Emma here saved me! She touched him, and... turned him to stone! It saved my life!"
The crowd murmured amongst themselves, while the older group, assumed to be teachers, discussed within themselves. Isaac took this time to lean down to Emma to tell her, "Thank you! I believe you really did save my life!"
Emma blushed! It was so cute! She looked up at Isaac, much taller than her, and took a moment before speaking. "You are welcome! Very welcome! I am glad I was there at the right time!"
"Young man!" bellowed the Dean. "Isaac, was it? Normally I would say welcome to Winchester Academy, but it would seem our welcome has been soiled. The faculty and I will sort this out and repair the damages, both to the grounds, and our reputation. Please proceed to your room to unpack, as if none of this happened today." Casually, he began to turn back to this faculty, but seemed to remember something else. "You will he contacted later to discuss this matter."
One of the female teachers approached the stone man and touched it, causing the stone to glow brightly, and then dissipate instantly. The brute returned completely human, and then slumped to the ground. The teacher signaled to some of the others, who came over and lifted the **** bully before carrying him away, presumably to the medical area.
Isaac felt relieved, as this fiasco was coming to an end. What a first day! Before gathering his bags, he had one last thing to do:
"Hey, Emma!" he shouted at the sexy Korean as she began walking away. She stopped, and hesitated for a moment before turning around.
"Yes? What is it?" Her face seemed a little more red than before, and she was avoiding eye contact as much as possible. Speaking to the Dean in front of everyone must have reacted with her usual shyness.
"I have to unpack and get settled in. Want to meet up tomorrow? I don't know anyone else here, and I-"
"Yes!" She suddenly blurted, before gasping and covering her mouth, her face turning very red. "I mean, I would like to, sure. How about the coffee shop in the library? See you tomorrow at noon!"
Without giving Isaac a chance to speak, she hurriedly walked away and into the crowd. He stood there, slightly dumbfounded, but also with a goofy grin on his face. This would be the first girl he has a chance with! This place might now be so bad after all...
With that last thought, he began gathering his bags and started on the long track to his room.
