Door 4

Jake stepped through the door with the number 4 on it. The room inside was an elegant dining room, lit by a chandelier hanging over the centre of the room. A long dining table, set for eight people, took up most of the room. Only one seat was occupied – a large man sat at the head of the table, his back to the door leading to the room next door. Seeing Jake, he carefully placed his cutlery down, and wiped his mouth daintily with his napkin. He smiled kindly, and indicated the seat to his right.

"Please join me", he offered.
