Chapter 27

Does that mean they're nearly done for today then...?
Done with the cleaning, now for planning the evening
After a quick lunch it wasn't long until Jack and his family had finished the last of the cleaning, and they all took a break by the pool while they watched it being slowly filled with water. It seemed like some had a lot of energy left over than others though, and Kim looked like she was almost about to jump in the water long before the pool was full, while the other two girls didn't seem willing to move an inch from their sun chairs for the rest of the day.
"Hey, what should we have for dinner?" Asked the restless blonde, as she'd strolled around the poolside, and returned to the others who were sitting in the shadow by the wall. How she could think about food already was a mystery to Jack, even if the lunch they just had was a light one, but soon it became obvious that she had something else in mind than just dinner. "We could always eat out again! I heard they just opened a real good place out by the stadium!"
"I don't know, Kim..." Said Jennifer, who'd been quiet for quite some time, and shook her head as she pondered her sister's suggestion. For once she seemed really sensible, which wasn't all that often if asking her father. "We ate out yesterday already. And besides, I thought you said you wanted to spend the rest of the day by the pool...?"
"Just a few hours!" Kimberly smiled and winked, as if she truly believed she'd have much stamina left in the evening if she kept going like this all day. It seemed like she saw some merit to her sister's advice at least, especially when it came to an idea about having a barbecue in their own garden instead, but still she prompted that the place she was talking about was situated just outside of the town's arena. "We could even get some tickets if we hurry! Right dad...?"
"Yeah, right..." Jack nodded soberly, as he wondered how he got involved in this whole discussion in the first place. Just like Jennie, he too had been set on spending the rest of the day at home, but on the other hand he just realized how long it was since he went to a match of any sort. Shirley had never been much for going, and neither had Kate or Jennifer, while it rarely happened that Jack went out by himself, nor with just one of the girls in tow.
"Either way, I'm just slacking off for the rest of the day!" Catherine proclaimed, just like her father had already figured she would, and he found himself watching for a moment while she lounged in one of the sun chairs. Just staying around her while she was dressed up and posing in her bikini was becoming just a bit of a problem again, and it didn't help that the others had found some similarly skimpy outfits as well.
In fact, it could be nice getting away from the house for a while, at least if Jack would keep getting distracted like this, and he figured that Kim wouldn't wear something quite as revealing while she went to a match or a restaurant. But then again he felt like it was mostly just a waste of money, while at the same time he wasn't all that keen on spending too much time in a crowd of people...
Once again it's up to Jack to make his decision...

Girls of Jack
One man's world has been turned upside down, but he may find hope in the most unexpected places.
A story which I hope to work on when I have the time for it. For now it's closed for others, but I'll gladly accept ideas and suggestions for how to improve or continue the story! I've now started adding conditions, which is how I planned it from the start. So far it's recommended to read without activating the play function, but please try it out if you want, and let me know if you find something odd about the scoring.
