Don't follow Rom.

You let Rom go outside alone, while you continue to recuperate in the shed. You are happy to be out of the heat, and don't really want to go back into it so soon. Idly, you look around the shed. It is sparsely furnished. Other than the two chairs and table in the middle of the room, there is little else. There is little in the way of decoration. You would guess that this room is used by the Gatekeepers while they are on duty, and for little else.

You're eyes fall on a small chest in the corner of the room. Its intricately carved lid looks out of place in the metal and wood that makes up hut. Curious, you get up, and approach the chest. As you expected, the chest shows sign of royal favour – the carvings on the lid depict a battle between a mighty warrior and a monster that climbs out of the earth itself, and the metal inlays look like gold and silver.

You reach out to touch the chest. It feels cold, strange in such a hot environment. It seems to shiver under your fingers. You notice that the chest doesn't have a lock.
