Don't accept the invite

"I'm not sure if my schedule can allow for that...but if i have some spare time-i'll try and make it." Kira replied curtly.

"No problem" Janeway answered with a touch of dissapointment in her voice "it was only a suggestion" and yet kira noted there was something else in her dismissal of the offer, could it be that Janeway was hitting on her?
An awkward silence decended on the conversation and just when Kira was going to make an excuse and leave, DS9's engineer Miles O'Brien tapped her on the shoulder
"Commander, i think you're needed in cargo bay 1, I've been trying to contact you for ages, there a shipment coming in that needs your attention"
Kira excused herself and left, as she walked away she noticed the way that Janeway was staring at her tight body...but putting it down to nothing more then curiousity, she dropped it from her mind.

she pressed the button for the turbolift and when the doors opened, she was greeted by Doctor Bashir,heading to Sick bay.
