Chapter 5

Who shall instigate - and how?
Dominique, Timidly
Dominique let out a careful breath as her instructors hands kneaded her shoulders for a moment. He let go of her and sat in the desk next to hers, keeping her company as she came down from the panic of her fellow classmates trying to fuck her - regardless of consent - in the middle of public. Did the king not think about consent when he wrote the law? Moreover, how was she supposed to find a suitor to prevent getting legally ****? She was the daughter of a farmer from a border town, one so barely on the map it managed to avoid Volarias usual issues, and her magic was hit or miss.
She only really had her own self to offer - and how was she supposed to ‘sell’ that when literally anyone could simply take her anyway? She could practically feel herself panicking again as she tried to come up with a solution. Beside her, Victor looked almost pained, watching his student fall in and out of panic just because of a new law - granted, a rather **** one. How exactly was he supposed to help her? This wasn’t exactly something he could just answer like a question in the study materials or in regards to magic.
“... Professor. You said as a teacher you’ve already been told about the new law to prevent it from disrupting class right?”
Victor shrugged, watching Dominique’s eyes. “We were, though to be honest aside from simply declaring the school a no sex zone we can’t do much - and people will ignore that rule.” He said, a set of runes flickering in the air, followed by a circle floating in front of him - he reached in through the circle, his hand disappearing as he did, and pulled out a cup of hot tea. He took a sip, and relaxed in the chair. "That said, the students here are usually from rather well off families, so courtship rules are much more likely to be self-enforced."
That didn't exactly help her, if anything it was part of the issue now. She groaned and leaned into her desk, her head knocking against the flat surface. Why couldn't she be from a normal country - with normal laws and a king that had some semblance of knowing what he was doing? What, was she supposed to make a fake ring and hope no-one questioned it?
She turned her head to see her professor looking at her with an almost mournful look. A glance at the hand holding his teacup revealed a lack of a ring… he wasn't married? A thought came to her mind before she attempted to shake it free - unfortunately it stuck, and as she looked at Victor the more it grew…
'Better to ask than not, if he says no I'll be **** by the end of the school day, if he says yes though…'
Victor was hardly ugly - to the contrary, he was one of the best looking instructors in the school. More than a few students had entertained fantasies about him. Maybe…?
"... What about you?" She asked, and then paled as his teacup clicked against the table he was resting it on. Dominique buried her face into her arms as she felt her face heat up. "I'm sorry!"
How does he respond?
