Jane clutched her head as a everything shifted around her. The kitchen which she had been checking her phone in disappeared, turning into an opulent dining room. Along with the physical shift, a monstrous headache developed as an entirely new lifetime of memories were shoved into her mind.

A childhood spent learning from her creators alongside her sister. They had both been engineered to embody a goddess, Jane was the embodiment of Athena, dominant, strategic, supposed to put the ends before the means. Her sister Vera had been chosen to embody Aphrodite, the most lovely, beautiful, true to her values.

They had been put through the most vigorous education program their creators could devise. Military strategy, science, politics, and literature were just the start.

Once the twins reached the age of majority, they had been given control over a province. The overwhelming success of the experiment had eventually lead to them taking control of the national government.

Just as soon as the memories appeared, it ended, leaving her holding her head as her new? twin stared at her with concerned eyes.
