Doctor Who

After looking at the rack you find a costume of the Doctor and not just the Doctor or a Doctor but Doctor Who, your lucky enough to find one that is more fitting of being in the style of the 9th Doctor, Black leather coat and black shirt and pants. But the outfit clearly reads the 10th Doctor. Being a fan and all you find this strange, because the costume for the 10th doctor was either a blue or brown pinstripe suit, and a long brown coat. You look at the outfit confused unsure what to make of it, it does not seem right but at the same time it must be why would a costume be made and mislabeled.

You look next to the costume and realize they are labeled to be Captain Jack Harkness, it seems to be in two styles but both are pretty much the same thing. One just has a dark blue shirt and the other has a baby blue shirt and that is the only difference among them other then that is a dark wool rain jacket from World War 2 and Military marks a pair of suspenders a gun and several other objects to finish off the outfit. As you look at the two you realize this costume is not for you but you wonder why it happens to be labeled correctly well the Doctor Who one is not. The main reason this costume is not for you is that Captain Jack Harkness is thought to be bi-sexual and the image it projects is not quiet the image you want at this party once you get there. Plus the whole being dressed in clothing from the 1930's is not really the most fashionable thing.

You decide to go ahead and take the Doctor Who costume that is labeled wrong, Madame Vivante stops you for a moment with a showing smile and waves you to the dressing room saying, "Don't worry monsieur, it will fit you perfectly once you get it on. Zee costumes really are one size fit all"

You look at her oddly but head in to the dressing room with the coat and shirt and pants, once inside you look at the sonic screw driver and it simply looks to be a rubber prop it does not buzz or even light up. But it does look quiet like it did in the show, and it clearly looks like the 10th Doctor's screwdriver so you wonder why the outfit is for the 9th Doctor. Either way you change out of you're clothing and into the outfit costume you picked out. Soon after getting it on you pick up the sonic screwdriver and it's no longer be just a piece or rubber at first this spooks you so you take a look at yourself in the mirror. You run the sonic screw driver over the mirror as well just for kicks and you start to get some kind of feed back in your brain telling you what the mirror is made out of. It seems a bit strange but you shrug and turn toward the door to get the opinion on the costume from Madame Vivante.

As you open the door you step into as best as you can tell the T.A.R.D.I.S, but that is not the only thing. You have a woman with dirty blond hair not far from you are yelling and screaming about the light coming off you and you can see the light and feel a bit of pain. But other then that you feel pretty normal. She just keeps yelling at you, you look about a moment before the light dies down and the woman you realize is Rose Tyler one of the Doctor's traveling companions. As the light dies a way she starts to yell at you for a different reason.

Rose accuses you "You're not the Doctor, so Who are you?"

You smile softly and at her "I am Who I am, I cannot be someone I am not and if you accuse me once again of not being Who I say I am then you must not be Who you say you are and there for you must get out of the Tardis."

Rose looks at you a moment puzzled as you say for comic affect, "What I hoped for red hair, and what is this my teeth do not feel right and my ears are off." You look down at your hands a moment and then act as if you're wiggling your toes and counting and say, "Well at least I have all my finger's and toes, and all though my teeth do not feel right at least I have all of them in place." You reach under your shirt and feel, and this is when you get a real shock. "What? Two hearts?"

Rose looks puzzled and says, "You always had the two hearts, what is the matter?"

You look at her a moment confused, and write it off as, "I believe, I am a little confused on where I am."

Rose once again asks, "Who are you?"

You smile at her realizing you just became the 10th Doctor and the costume was not labeled wrong and state "I am The Doctor, the last of the time lords, I am 910 years old and I am the last person anyone ever wants to piss off. Oh and I just regenerated, you see after I took in the energy of the time vortex, since no one as I told you was ever supposed to take in the energy of the time vortex it had to be expelled in some way. And that way was through regeneration. And sadly Rose I think now is the time I return you to your mother, she must be worried dreadfully for you. What year is it by the way?"

Rose tells you what year it happens to be, lucky for you it happens to be the same year as the time you come from for which your supposed to return her too. So you figure that you could very well return to your home one Tardis up and one heart extra as well. But you wonder if anything else has changed.

Once you land the Tardis you give Rose a hug and wish her goodbye and farewell, and you add "I am sorry dear, but sometimes rules should be followed Bad Wolf or not." Rose looks sad but nods and walks back to her mother's house with a small tear in her eye, as you leave you see her friend Mickey run out to her. In the end your just happy to know she will be happy if for some reason this has become your world approximately, since you honestly have no idea how you got here.

You turn to the panel and hit a few buttons hoping you do it right, you hear the sounds of what the Tardis is supposed to do and so on, you walk to the police box doors and open them. To find that the Tardis is now in Madame Vivante's shop, you look around and notice that indeed the Tardis is whole and in her shop. You are no longer in the dressing room, you feel puzzled by this as you look about.

Madame Vivante comes up and looks at you and smiles. "The Tardis is a wondrous thing, it knows where to go when it happens to be time to go to it." You are more puzzled then before her response suggests she knew this would happen but how? And you wonder why she said The instead of Zee!

What to do now? Ask Madame Vivante what happen? Travel in the Tardis? Go out and find a Traveling companion? Travel the Galaxy? Save the world?
