Chapter 6

You leave the ship
Docking Bay 3, Central Tower, Planet Kalden
You leave Space Coffin. As you exit the cargo bay, you find yourself inside a docking bay just a bit larger than your ship. A huge hangar door closes slowly, sealing your ship inside.
You spot a blue skinned humanoid with a comical purple pig nose walking towards you. He wears a dull black skin tight uniform, and you can't help but notice that he is gifted down there. There is also a black human shaped droid holding a weird looking rifle behind him.
"Xhegh, hbvees" he says in a weird language.
"Sorry, I don't understand what you say"
"Nsjux dke knme" he says and he pulls something out of his pocket. It looks like a chip.
Suddenly the droid speaks in your language.
"This is a universal translator, it costs 50 credits and allows you to communicate with others having it. You can place it by yourself if you want it."
You figure that they are probably honest, and you nod.
After you pay the blue creature 50crd he shows you to place the chip under your left ear. It hurts only for a moment and you feel a bit weird, but you soon recover.
"Good, now we can talk." the blue creature nods approvingly.
"I am inspector Hirl. I assume this is your first time here. Seeing that you bring a cargo ship, you are in the right place. This is the merchant tower, and we are at floor 44. The main market is at floors 75- 60. At floor 40-25 you can find a place to relax or buy common items and below floor 25 you can find a place to live. However you can't leave the tower without permission." he explains quickly. He probably feels that he already wasted too much time talking with you.
"However you can't carry weapons or armor anywhere within this tower. If you are caught carrying weapons you will be executed. Also I should warn you that we have advanced scanners, hiding your weapon won't help. Besides you won't need one." he says pointing at your gun.
"Finally before leaving you will have to pay any taxes for whatever cargo you sold or bought. Everyone has to report what he brings in for sale who he sold it to and what he leaves with, so don't try to hide anything. Finally you are responsible for your ship, if your cargo gets stolen it isn't our business and you will still have to pay taxes."
"You can find me at my office if you have further questions, otherwise we will meet again when I will have to inspect your cargo." he says.
You nod that you understand, and then he leaves.
You return to your ship to leave your weapons and your armor, and then you come back down.
