Dinner time

After you find your way back into the comfy chair, there is a shy knock on the door. You look over to Margret to check if she's proper. You decide it's fine and you respond to the door. "Come in." you say. The door opens and a little, crooked man enters the room, followed by three servants with large plates of food. The servants walk over to the dinner table and put down the food. You get up from your chair with a groan, desperately trying not to spill your whiskey and walk over to the dinner table. You see Margret doing the same.

The small man talks extensively about the variety of dishes, holding his pinky so close to the food you have to resist the urge to swat him away like it is an annoying bug. When at last he finishes his speech, you lose your self-control and give him a slow clap. "Thank you. I'm sure we will enjoy it even more now." you say sarcastically. The man looks at Margret for support but she has other matters on her mind. She is intently staring you down, until you break under the pressure and apologise. The man bows one last time and leaves the room. The food is delicious and you try to start a conversation with Margret several times, but she doesn't respond.

After you both finish your food and whine, Margret finally talks to you again. "That was delicious, it was even worth the wait. Was there anything you wanted to do before heading off to bed?" she asks. You nod. "Yes, actually. I wanted to see the security room for myself and I think I'll have enough time for that before heading off to bed." Margret stands up from the table and walks towards the bed. "I'm going to take a long shower, so I won't be accompanying you there. The easiest way to get to Greg is by talking to the security cameras." You look around for cameras, but don't find any.

The hallway directly connected with your room has a few cameras, so you walk up to one and ask for Greg. You don't have to wait long for a response. Greg, accompanied by a single female guard round the corner and walk up to you. "Andy, hello. I heard your request. How can I help you?" he asks you. "Good evening. Margret informed me of a security room and I would like to see it for myself. Would that be possible?" you ask. "Certainly! Please follow me."

You are lead through a maze of hallways until Greg suddenly stops at a specific door. He whispers something in the female guard's ear and she walks away. You follow him into a boring room. Is this the great security room? you think to yourself. Greg opens a second door you hadn't noticed before and walks in. You follow him eagerly and are not disappointed at all by what you are presented with. You step into the room and marvel at the large amount of screens. There is one other person in the room, slowly switching between cameras like they were tv channels. She acknowledges your presence with a nod and continues with what she was doing. Greg walks up behind you. "Do you like it, sir? Was there any specific camera you would like to see?" You look back and smile at him. "It's quite remarkable." you say. After thinking his second question through you decide there aren't any specific cameras you want to see. You do wonder if you could spy on your own room, but quickly discard the idea.

Before you can respond, Greg's earpiece comes to life. You hear an audible buzz coming from the device, but can't make out any words. Greg's face darkens however, which is enough information for you to figure out it is not very positive. "Surround the building immediately. No one is allowed to enter or leave the area before I arrive. I will be with you in 5 minutes." Greg looks at you. "We have a situation at a farmhouse not too far from here, I have to go now. Unless you wanted to come with me, I would allow that." he says.
