Deraxle & Sashya spend time in the forest.

The sight of two dragons taking off from the guildhouse must've been a sight to see, as the two Draconians shift into their dragon forms, and flew off in the direction of the mountains. Deraxle guided Sashya to the high peaks, which were covered in a mix of snow and glacier ice, showing her some of the glacial ice flows, and where they melt to form lakes and waterways. Then it was on to the foothills and valleys below, helping her mark the tree line, and then the designated areas where miners and loggers can do their respective things.

Through their established Dragon-like telepathy, Sashya "pointed" to a spot in the forest, where they could land, and shift back into their humanoid forms. There was an open field in the middle of the forest, cut nearly in half by a flowing stream, and where tall grasses and flowers grew. Sashya landed first, then Deraxle at a good enough distance. Then they shifted back into humanoid forms, and she walked over to him.

"Aahh, isn't this lovely, Deraxle?" Sashya asked him, speaking in Draconian. "Open air, virgin water, and only the wild plants and animals around us?"

"Yes, it is lovely, indeed, Sashya." Deraxle nodded back to her with a smile, speaking in Draconian. "Janissa sometimes come here to the forest to meditate, keep herself attuned to the earth, and keep her archer & ranger skills honed."

"So why does she stay in the guildhouse, instead of building a personal home here, if she's a ranger?" Sashya asked him. "Doesn't rangers build their homes in the wilds?"

"Her origins are in an Elven settlement, not the wilds." Deraxle responded. "She had thought about building a treehouse somewhere nearby, but so far, she hasn't been able to follow through on that."

"In my opinion," Sashya spoke next, "I believe she needs one, given her mental state. I think the sounds of nature will help her heal physically and mentally, and she can bring Sakura & Trini along, while Cat & Valnora are busy mating, and Cesar's in the city."

"I hope Valnora isn't giving the registrar a hard time." Deraxle chuckled. "I can only imagine the trouble she'd bring while she gets registered. As for Cesar, I'm sure he's seeing one of the few ladies he knows in the city. If I had a say on it, though, I think he's best off with one of those female gladiators."

"They hold gladiator games there?" Sashya asked him.

"Yes, they do." Deraxle nodded.

They continued their talk, as they walked into the forest, using the stream as a guide. As the day wore on, Sashya assessed where Janissa could best build a treehouse, even though Deraxle wondered if she knew anything about Elven architecture. Then they returned to the open field to shift into dragon forms again, and flew back to the guildhouse.

"Thank you for spend time with me, Deraxle." Sashya smiled when she shifted back into humanoid form.

"You are most welcome, Sashya." Deraxle responded with a smile.

"I may not sleep in your bed, yet, in all honesty," Sashya gave him a soft smile, "but you've at least earned my companionship."

With that, Sashya stepped forward, and pecked a light kiss to his cheek. Then she stepped back with a smile, and headed back into the guildhouse. Deraxle watched her, and shrugged a bit, and then walked back inside.
