Chapter 4
by RavenousLavender
Should Lauren accept or deny the offer
Deny the offer
Lauren thought it over and quickly came to an answer. Sure the future seemed dark, but these were just assumptions of what might happen. Even more so, should she believe them? When they were told by someone who wanted to take advantage of her. If she accepted the offer it would be set in stone. If she denied it she may get off unharmed.
"no." She almost whispered.
"excuse me?" Rayne said, clearly offended by her decline.
"No." Lauren said more firm this time. "I can't accept your offer, I couldn't live with myself if I did."
Rayne shrugged. "hmpf, well suit yourself then. We'll see how you will 'live' with yourself after tomorrow."
Lauren knew exactly what she meant by that. But she wasn't going to let Rayne scare her into this. After all she had never done it before. She and her boyfriend had promised themselves to each other. They said they would wait untill after marriage. Not in a creepy, we have never kissed till after we are married way. No it wasn't anything like that, they just both thought of their virginity as something special. As a gift to the one who they would be with forever, to the one whom would father her children. Someone who would love her unconditionally and forever. not that it mattered anymore. Her one true love was gone. She had to bite back her tears at the thought of this.
Luckily Rayne seemed to have gotten bored in the meantime and had climbed in her top bunk.
"You're the bottom one meat." She said to Lauren.
Lauren sat down on the bottom bunk and kicked of her shoes. She lay her head down and closed her eyes. The entire day and experiences had made her tired. She quickly drifted off in a restless sleep.
The next morning her cellmate woke her up roughly.
"Wake up meat! It's a new day." Lauren opened her eyes slightly, still blurry from the sleep leaving her head. She saw the familiar grin of her cellmate. "And what a day this will be for you. Are you ready to get fucked by your prison mates?" She laughed a little bit, then regained her normal grin. "not that it really matters if you aren't, they won't care."
Lauren felt her stomach filling with nerves, she was so scared for today. But she couldn't let Rayne notice. No one could or she would be a target for sure. "you know what Rayne, I don't believe you."
Rayne lifted her eyebrow. "is that so?" She said clearly amused.
"yeah, you're trying to scare me into this, but not everyone is a lesbian. I will be fine." This time Lauren actually believed herself. Her cellmate however was not convinced.
She started laughing as if Lauren had just told her the most hilarious joke in the entire world. "You poor innocent fresh meat." She spoke between laughter. "Don't you know? It's not about that. It's not about being a lesbian."
"What's it about then?" Lauren said a bit annoyed. For herself she had figured it out, well at least she wanted to feel like she had. Her cellmate with her new theory was far from welcome.
"It's about power silly and.. well... Primal urges of course. Do you think every man in a male prison is gay? No of course not, but that doesn't stop them from fucking each other like bunnies. "
Lauren swallowed, she tried her best to keep her nerves down. "Girls sweety." She said as she stroked Lauren's hair. "Girls are no different. But you will find out soon enough." She said eyeing her from top to toe again. "I only offer once. And now I'm really going to enjoy watching them tear you apart."
The cell doors opened and Rayne walked out of their cell. She looked back at Lauren one more time. "good luck out there." She winked as she walked away.
Lauren took a few deep breaths to calm the nerves. She stood up and walked out of the cell trying to look as tough as she could
She entered a dining room. Her fellow cellmates had all found their place already, eating and laughing together as if they were in a normal cafeteria. Some power struggles here and there were quickly visible. Lauren felt lost. This was way worse than the first day of high school or anything like that and those times were hard enough for Lauren to begin with. She always had trouble to adapt to people. And here... The people here were worse, as well as their intentions.
She carefully walked over towards the row to get something to eat. Food was served by prisoners as well. Once she had her food she looked around the cafeteria. Now came the most difficult part, where was she going to sit?
Everyone seemed to have their place. She spotted Rayne sitting at a table with 'her gang'. She wasn't exaggerating her group was gigantic. At least 1.5 times the size of any other group she saw in the cafeteria. A few tables to the left she spotted an empty table. But that might have been someone's as well. Sitting there could get her into trouble. But what else should she do? Rayne probably wouldn't accept it if she was going to sit there. But then again she was the only one Lauren knew and she might like the fact that Lauren was so bold. Sitting on the toilets wasn't an option in here. Once again she found herself in the midst of a crucial choice. Should she sit at the empty table? or should she go and sit with Rayne
Sit at the empty table or go and sit with Rayne?
