Defend yourself

"No Sam it was not your fault, and had you stayed around a little while longer you would have seen how big it really is. I'm a grower not a shower." you say laughing but being slightly serious at the same time.

Sam slaps you playfully on the shoulder. "EWWWWW. I so totally didn't want to hear that." she laughs.

You extend a hand towards the couch as you shut the door behind her. "So to what pleasure do I owe your visit my pretty little angel?"

"Oh shut up." she says playfully as she sits down on the couch.

"Well, Brian and I were talking and when he deploys next week I have to find a place to stay."

"What about getting a house on post with your BAH money?" you ask as you take a seat next to her.

"We talked about that, but he thinks we should save our BAH money while he is deployed so we can have a bit of money when he gets back you know. I could get an apartment but by the time I pay utilities and all that it'd be about the same price." Sam said

"I'm listening." you say not sure where this is going

"You have this big house all to yourself, you're wife isn't coming back right?" she asks gingerly.

"I think I get where this is going." you finally say

"I already talked to Brian, and he trusts you, and me. He said if it was okay with you that I could just take one of your extra rooms and pay part of the rent. That way it would save you money and Brian and I could save money too. What do you think?"
