Defend the innocent.

Ashley watched as two swordsmen stalked a little girl, fleeing in terror from the brutal attack by the bandits. She just couldn't sit idly by anymore. Dashing forward she grabbed one by the back of the neck, spun in a circled, and hurled the man right through a shanty's wall.

The man next to her turned in alarm. Bringing her right fist around into a hook, the half-elf smashed her steel gauntlet into his jaw, and felt the bones crack beneath the mighty blow. Flipping her hand backward, the back of her gauntlet caught him in the jaw again, and sent him up and into the air, only to hit the ground like a sack of potatoes.

Metal resounded against metal, and Ash winced, when an arrow bounced off her gauntlet She was lucky the man had shot her there, anywhere else could have been disaster. Trying not to think about her lack of foresight, she turned and spotted the bowmen behind her.

Dashing toward him, the fiery redhead leapt forward and rolled across the ground, as a second arrow sailed overhead. Coming to her feet, she launched a straight right, tagging the man right between the eyes, sending him to the ground ****

“Hey, one of them is fighting back!” A man bellowed from a nearby street.

Glancing up she saw four bandits armed with swords coming around the building. None of them had ranged weapons, but she wasn't going to get the drop on them either. While she felt her cause was just, she wasn't stupid. This could be a problem.

Glancing to the side, she saw the little girl had vanished into the infernos, and it was time for her to do the same. Turning toward the hole in the building she had made, she leapt through it, and dashed through the quaint room toward the door on the other side.

“After her!” She heard the man call, as the others cried out in agreement.

Throwing her metal shoulder into the door, she watched with awe, as the wood practically exploded from her impact. Debris flew everywhere, as she dashed through the road toward another building.

Another group coming from the other direction spotted her, and this one had four archers among their group of six. The men quickly took aim and let loose a volley of arrows, just as she burst through the door into the hovel. Not slowing down she threw herself through the thin wall on the other side, and found herself in another tiny avenue.

Turning to the left, the busty beauty dashed down the avenue, heading for the forest. The forest was only a few hundred feet away, but her progress was impeded by another pair of bandits coming around the corner of a building ahead of her.

Dashing right up to them, before they knew what was happening, she grabbed one by the sword arm, and spun around, slamming him into his friend. The man screamed in surprise, as the two collided, and fell in a heap.

“There she is!”

Glancing behind her she saw the contingent of archers coming toward her, and they quickly raised their bows, and began to fire. Leaping over the two stunned men before her, her breasts bouncing wildly, she dashed between the buildings out of the line of fire.

Sprinting past a couple of shanties, she was near the next avenue, when the original bandits dashed in front of her. Spotting her, they turned and ran toward her. Pivoting rapidly, she burst through the door of the building near her, and ran for the back wall. Smashing through another wall, she dashed around the next building, not wanting to be slowed by plowing through structures to get away.

Running between the burning buildings, she saw the forest line, up ahead. She was almost there, as she neared the last row of buildings, two archers walked into her field of view, turned and took aim. Pivoting left Ashley slammed her left shoulder into the shanty, and felt the weak wood groan as her light body bounced off.

Ash hit the ground in pain, realizing her mistake.

“Don't move lady.” The archer sneered down at her.

She could hear the footfalls of several men coming from behind.
