Days of Future Past/20 Minutes in the Future

With the exception of your home (which has some minor storm-like damage), a majority of the city looks like they were hit by a combination of a hurricane, a nuclear blast, and a Japanese monster. Cars are overturned and busted; a few fires rage. In the distance, you think you can hear voices.

Deciding to investigate, you grab a denim jacket off of a chair, and a Louisville Slugger out of the closet. No sense in going outside helpless, and if there's a zombie race outside, there's no way in hell that you can pretend to be Bruce Campbell. So ya might as well carry the hardest smegging stick of wood on the planet to defend yourself.
