You grew up in Twinleaf town, a little cozy village in the sinnoh region. Today, however is the day you have been waiting for with nerveous anticipation for the past 10 years at least. Your 18th birthday, and the day you finally get a pokemon from Professor Rowan. You had been working odd jobs around town, from mowing lawns to helping weed gardens to start saving up money for your trip. After all, tents and camping gear aren't just free.

As you make your way to the entrance to route 201, you spy Professor Rowan waiting for you. Thankfully he had agreed to come bring you a pokemon since you couldn't reach his laboratory without a pokemon. Walking up to him, you wave and quickly give him a hug.

"Good morning Professor Rowan! Thank you so much for coming today! I really appreciate you being willing to come to Twinleaf for me. " You gratefully give him a hug, and you swear you can feel him staring down at your cleavage for just a second. Quickly you step back a couple of feet.

"Oh its quite alright Dawn. I'm just glad you called and asked. Just the other day I had had your neighbors try to run through the grass to get to my laboratory. I managed to stop them in time before a bidoof did anything else other than tackle one of them. They will be alright I think. With a lesson or two learned that is. But oh I'm sure you are excited for your fiest pokemon. Here why don't you meet them!"

He suddenly opened his briefcase and three pokeballs tumble out. Releasing each of them in turn you are presented with three Pokémon; Piplup, a chimchar, and a turtwig.

"Go ahead and pick one!"
