David Watson, a student from the local high school.

As David lay there ****, his subconscious mind wandered. Various names entered his head.

Bill, his 45 year old father. Nancy, his 40 year old mother. His 18 year old senior sister, Jessica. His 20 year old college sister, Brenda. His best friend, Trent Nash. His other really good friend, Justin Boyle...

More and more names popped into his head. His extended family. His teachers. The jock. The cheerleaders. Finally, he was left with only one name. His own.

David. 18 years old. Senior at Cook High School. However, something wasn't right. As he thought about his own name, he felt weird. Almost...wet. He didn't have any time to process this feeling because at this moment, he woke up.

As David looked around, he noticed he made it into the vent. As he did, it became apparent that something was wrong. He didn't actually "look around". More like he could naturally see everything around him. At once even. Almost like he had 360 degree vision. But that's not possible. As he attempted to move his arms to crawl through the vent, he got another shock. He had no arms. Instead, his attempt to move caused some strange blue appendage to sprout from himself. He tried moving his other body parts, but each had the same result. As far as he could tell, he didn't have a human body anymore. Failed attempts to change back to normal confirmed this. Hell, it's questionable whether the blue blob he's been reduced to could even be classified as a body. David started to panic. What the fuck happened to him?

Suddenly, David remembered the blue liquid from earlier and how it seeped into him. It's the same color blue as he is now. He also remembered how he seemed to "flow" into the vent before passing out. It seems like whatever that blue liquid was, it turned him into the same thing. After a couple of minutes moping, he decided to try to move. Even if he couldn't walk, he found out he could still move. It was almost like a snake slithering around. As he moved through the vents, his mood changed from sad to accepting. Even more, he because curious as 2 questions popped into his head. Was there any way to return to his normal body? And now that he was...whatever he was, what options did he have?

The more he thought, the more the last question stuck out in his mind. Just what did that blue liquid do to him, and what does it allow him to do now? Whatever it was, David was determined to find out.
