Dani Comes to the Restaurant

It’s taking Dani a while to get here. Even though she’s texted you saying that she’ll “be right there”, it’s been at least fifteen minutes, and you’re starting to get worried that Matt will leave before she gets here.

But sure enough, she does arrive, and she looks absolutely stunning. Now you know why it’s taken her this long to get here - she’s done up her make-up, and must have changed into a cute black cocktail dress - and you see that Matt’s giving the two of you a curious once-over.

“Hey Dani, happy to see you didn’t stand me up,” you say, giving her a wink.

“Me? Stand someone up? I grew out of that in third grade,” she says playfully, winking back as she slides into the booth next to you. Bam, she’s knocking it out of the park from square one.

“I know, you’ve been nothing but great since we’ve met,” you compliment, laying it thick. Matt will be hers in no time at all, if you’re doing this right.

“Gosh, you’re too kind,” she says, blushing, just as the waiter comes by. You’re kind of in a secluded area, so the waiter has to get around a barrier to take your order. You note that only Matt really has a clear view of your table.

“Anything for the two of you?” the waiter asks.

The two of you make your orders - tacos and horchatas for two, and the waiter heads out. Matt, on his phone, looks up at the two of you again as you place an arm around Dani’s shoulder, and she leans her head against your shoulder.

You lean in for a kiss, and to your surprise, Dani obliges you with a quick, chaste thing. You want to go for another more intimate one, but you decide not to push your luck - the idea is to make Matt jealous, not to scare him off permanently after all. It turns out to not matter, because Matt heads out soon after you food arrives, having mostly been done with his food by the time you came in.

“Well, I guess that’s that,” you say, look at Dani. You suddenly notice that her lips look awfully close to yours and so, so tempting…

“I suppose it is,” she says, still leaning against you. There’s a soft warm glow about the room, and the quiet music seems to fade into the background as both of you lean against each other, neither reaching out to grab the food on the table. Even though Matt’s no longer here, all it would take to kiss her would be one small movement on your part…

Your lips meet hers, this time with startling ****, and Dani kisses you back, her hot mouth mashing against yours with an urgency that you hadn’t realised was there. You interrupt the kiss after a few seconds, concerned that you might be disturbing others, but you realise that nobody can see you from your secluded position.

Dani makes a soft complaining noise, and so you kiss her again to silence it. She wraps her arms around you, hands crossing your back, and your tongue ventures into her mouth for the first time, your lips parting to make way for the deeper kiss. Mmm.. you can taste the sweetness of the horchata in her mouth, and it’s delicious. As you make out, your hands drift lower, causing Dani’s breath to hitch as they run over her bra strap.

You realise that it would be so easy in this moment for you to undo the tiny clasp and get your hands into a much more preferable position…
