Dani's Unexpected Ally

Dani was about to decide what to do with James next when her phone buzzed. She pulled it from her pocket and read the text.

"Hey Dani, I'm Rebecca the witch that cursed James! Don't worry about how I got your number it's kind of a witches trade secret. Also, don't freak out you are not in trouble. Quite the reverse actually. I LOVE what you are doing with James and want to help you..."

The message ended there.

"Who was that?" James asked nervously.

"None of your business! Dani snapped. The smaller he got the more natural it felt for Dani to talk down to James. Her phone buzzed again, she checked the message immediately, eager to read more about how this mysterious witch was going to help her.

"I am going to put James's fate completely in your hands. If you want me to restore him to full size I will. If you want me to make him shrink slower or faster I will. If you want to leave him as he is now forever or I will do that too. Heck, if you want me to turn him into a female hamster to keep Baxter company I will do that for you. You have complete control over James from now on. That's exciting isn't it? Now, what's it to be?"

Dani was a little freaked out that this stranger not only knew her name and number but what she had called her pets but it seemed that Rebecca was on her side. She loved the idea of being in total control of James. This would be wrong of course, but maybe she felt like being wrong for once.

"Hey, come on! You can't leave me like this!" James complained.

"I told you to shut up!" Dani snapped back, before replying to Rebecca with shaky hands as she breathed heavily with anticipation.

"Shrink him faster!"
