Cynthia

[ This takes place some ways into the Gloria branch of the story. ]

Cynthia is a forty-two-year-old mother who is recently divorced. She has two grown children and she is living on her own for the first time since her early twenties. Cynthia is slightly on the tall side (5'7"). She has large breasts and a decent figure.

Cynthia wears her hair in a classic "Karen" cut -- an A-line reverse bob with chunky blonde highlights. Completing the Karen look, Cynthia has a narrow, severe face. "Karen" isn't just a look for Cynthia, as she is very demanding of service personnel everywhere, thinking them beneath her. That is, she is a bitch.

Until the divorce, Cynthia was a kept woman -- she never worked and lived off her husband's income; when she was younger, she was considered a trophy wife. Her ex-husband, Gerald, is a wealthy man who is a major landlord in town. He is 15 years older than Cynthia.

Cynthia's was friends with other rich, kept women. Their group was one socialite core of the town, and they would meet up for parties, tea, and charity fundraisers. Importantly for this branch of the story, she knew Gloria from this circle. Cynthia's relationships with most of these women were quite shallow, and she's largely been abandoned now that she is no longer rich.

Cynthia's divorce was not amicable, because Gerald caught her in bed with her personal trainer. Things hadn't been going very well between them after the kids moved out, and this was the final straw. Unfortunately for her, Cynthia had signed a bulletproof pre-nup with Gerald, and the divorce left her with nearly nothing.

We join Cynthia as she's living, beyond her means, in an efficiency apartment. Her money is running out and she is starting to feel ****.
