Crib

Melissa smirked as she carried Cassie up the stairs and brought her into the nursery and gently placed her in the crib and tucking her under a blanket folding it so that she was wrapped like a quesadilla with her little feet poking out.

She made sure the baby monitor was all set up and turned on the music player which played a playlist filled with lullabies. She then closed the door, locking the door as she walked down to her room and climbed into bed as she watched the monitor gazing at Cassie who was fast asleep. She smiled as Cassie’s thumb entered her mouth and she grabbed a stuffed bear that was in the crib with her and held it closely. After watching for a few minutes, Melissa fell asleep.
