Crash the reception

I stand at the back of the crowd and watch Kim and her doofus exchange their vows. I can't help but chuckle when I hear some of her family talking about what a great couple they make. They shoot me a dirty look.

After the wedding, Kimberly notices me on her way to the photo shoot. She walks over.

"Hey, Dwayne," she says pleasantly if a little nervously. "What are you doing here?"

"What, you think I came here to fuck up your wedding?" I laugh. She laughs weakly, looking around. "Nah, just in the neighborhood, thought I'd say what's up."

"Oh, well, it's great to see you," she stammers. "Uh, why don't you come by the reception tonight? Say eleven? After dinner."

"Maybe I'll do that," I say, smiling. "You look great in white."

Kim laughs nervously. "Thanks. Look, I gotta go, Dwayne. But thanks for dropping by." She scurries off.

She seemed nervous. Guess because it's her wedding day. And some random black guy she blew a couple of months ago just showed up.
