Chapter 10
by Cantalope
What does she do?
Cover up.
Fortunately for Danielle, despite the garments 'meatiness' it was so tight that her clothes still fit perfectly. In fact, most were a bit too big. At the sound of a car pulling up she hastily grabbed a opaque black dress that looked like it hadn't seen action for a few years and pulled it on. A little winded from running around the house all day, she took her time walking down the stairs to greet her husband, giving herself one final once-over to make sure nothing was showing. A small gasp of surprise and the rattle of a suitcase falling to the ground brought her attention to the door.
Danielle looked up to see both her husband, Rob, and her son, Daniel, staring open-mouthed up at her. Her heart missed a few beats but she resisted the urge to pat herself down, "Something wrong?"
Rob swallowed, looked away, and straightened his tie, Danielle recognized the motion as his nervous tick, "Nothing, you're just..."
"Beautiful..." Daniel finished for him, still gawking at his mother. Danielle blushed, a wave of relief washing over her combined with the pleasure of being admired. She forgot how good it felt. Demurely looking down she realized why she ranked 'beautiful' despite the lack of preparation: this was a mini-dress, barely long enough to cover mid-thigh. She hadn't shown this much leg in years.
Rob, usually so charming and controlled, looked downright uncomfortable, only glancing at her from the corner of his eye. If she hadn't been married to him she would have questioned his sexuality. From experience she knew that his calm demeanor shattered as soon as he felt he'd lost control of the situation. She supposed she should be flattered.
Daniel, on the other hand, couldn't seem to look away. His eyes were glued to Danielle's well-defined shape, seeming to drink in every bit of her presence. He was almost literally drooling.
How does she feel about the attention?
