Chapter 15
by HowardStark
Cover for them, or tell Anu what happened?
Cover for them
(Persuasion Increases)
“It was just a little misunderstanding, that’s all,” You reply to Anu.
“I see,” Anu responds, eyeing you in suspicion. “Well, get yourselves cleaned up and get back to your quarters. Don’t let this happen again or I’ll have you all thrown out. Understood?”
“Understood.” You all reply in unison. Anu leaves, and the two boys look over to you. “Why didn’t you say anything?” The boys ask you in bewilderment.
“I did. It was just a misunderstanding,” You reply.
“You’re alright, kid. I’m Kyvo,” says one of the boys. Kyvo is a tall boy with jet black hair and small build. The larger of the two also introduces himself, “I’m Johnathan.” You shake hands with the two sixteen year olds.
Looking over the rest of their crew you reply, “What about them?” “Once they come to we’ll explain what happened, they won’t be a bother.”
Once their friends awaken, the two boys explain the situation. They nod and glance over in your direction. Johnathan approaches you, “Well, they’re not happy about being overpowered by someone younger than them, but they’ve promised not to cause any problems. Thanks again, we owe you.” Climbing back into your bed after everyone has left, you go over the night’s events in your head. Adrenaline having subsided, you’re able to fall asleep again. At least you can sleep soundly knowing you may have just made some allies rather than enemies.
