Counselor Patient confidentiality

“Melissa, Melissa, Melissa?” Helda said pretending to be thinking about the name. She took a moment to look over Liberty Girl, noting the very skimpy, very revealing outfit that showed off almost everything about the heroine’s body. She could see the cute little A cup breasts, the very toned and athletic stomach, and the tiny thong that barely covered Liberty Girl’s most intimate region. Helda wondered how innocent the heroine was as she pondered how to take this young woman. “There are so many Melissas that I have seen but I am afraid I can’t talk about any of them.” Helda smiled.

“What? Why not?” Liberty Girl said frustrated by Helda’s response. “I said this student disappeared and she could be in danger.” Liberty Girl felt her anger rise up as she started at Helda.

“Because of counselor and patient confidentiality.” Helda answered and noted to herself how easily she got under Liberty Girl’s skin. “I can’t talk about a patient without a court order, I’m sorry.” Helda faked a look of concern. “I want to help, but if I gave up privileged information I could lose my job or go to jail.”

Liberty Girl wanted to yell in frustration but she understood where Helda was coming from. It seemed as though she’d hit a dead end.

“She probably hasn’t really disappeared, she may have just taken some time off.” Helda offered, trying to calm Liberty Girl and relax the heroine. “I see it all the time, stress of being away from home, all of the course work and having to adjust to different relationships can get to a student and they just need to get away from it all for a bit.”

Liberty Girl looked up at Helda, hoping that her concerns for Melissa were out of place and it was nothing. “You think this could be the case?”

“I do.” Helda said. “I think Melissa will be back in class next week.” Watching Liberty Girl, the counselor then said, “You look very stressed right now too….”

“Well I am worried, that is all.”

“I think it is more than that, you have more piled on your shoulders right now than just this one missing student.”

“I do have a lot that I am trying to keep going.” Liberty Girl admitted.

“Maybe you’d like to talk about it? I will listen to anything you want to say, and I may have some advice.” Helda said. “After all we don’t want you to have to run off because the stress gets to be too much and people think you are missing.”

Liberty Girl did have a lot of stress from being a heroine , to a student, to having a part time job. Maybe talking about some of it would get some weight off her chest and help her feel a little better. Liberty Girl knew she would have to be careful though and not reveal too much so that Helda could identify her as Amiee.
